WITHOUT turning my product into the clearance bin at Walmart.

It’s like catnip for Prime shoppers.
And when you stack it correctly with the right pricing and ads…

The Mistake Most Sellers Make
A while back, I was helping a seller in the kitchen niche.
Good product.
Good reviews.
Solid images.
But sales were flat.
So naturally, the seller panicked and dropped the price from $29.99 to $24.99.
Sales went up a little…

The lower price actually made the product look cheaper compared to competitors.

Here’s the exact setup I like to use.
Simple. Cheap. Effective.
Step 1: Keep Your Main Price Strong
Do NOT underprice your product.
Your price tells a story.
Cheap prices often scream:
🚨 Low quality
🚨 Risky purchase
🚨 Generic product
Instead:
Anchor your product at a healthy market price.
Example:
Instead of pricing at $24.99…
Price at $29.99.
Step 2: Add a Small Coupon
Now layer on a coupon.
Usually:
5%
10%
or $3–$5 off
Nothing crazy.
You don’t need Black Friday discounts every day.
You just need enough to trigger the “deal dopamine.”
Step 3: Stack With PPC
This is where it gets spicy 🌶️
Run Sponsored Products ads while the coupon is active.
Your ad now has:
✅ Better click appeal
✅ Higher conversion potential
✅ More shopper attention
That often lowers your ACOS naturally because more clicks turn into sales.
Amazon LOVES listings that convert.
